THE TSP FUND

 

The TSP Fund is an initiative of The Speed Project to support organizations harnessing the transformational power of running in innovative ways as they work to address inequalities in health, fight systemic injustice, and create pathways to opportunity in the US and globally.

On August 28th at 4AM PDT, the fun begins: 

Your unique team url will appear below. 
You’ll collect per/km pledges and donations from your community through the WTAF Platform.
You’ll be able to track your pledges and donations here. 
A live leaderboard will track teams’ fundraising progress through the end of the race (11:15AM PDT on September 6th).

100% of proceeds to the TSP Fund will directly support the following non-profit organizations:
 

THE 223 FOUNDATION
Honoring the legacy of Ahmaud Arbery - who was unjustly murdered in his hometown of Brunswick, Georgia while jogging near his home - by providing scholarships for young men and women of color to pursue fields related to social justice and training high school athletes to pursue social justice in their sphere of influence.

 

THE RUNNING CHARITY
Through community, mentoring and meaningful support services, TRC transforms the lives of young people experiencing homelessness by addressing long-term issues that compound a person’s situation and pushing them to achieve their full potential.

 

RUN HOPE WORK
Supporting young adults in Washington, D.C. to chart a pathway out of poverty, combining running, mindfulness, and vocational training to promote overall well-being and long-term employability.

 

GIRLS ON THE RUN
Building scholarships for girls in underserved communities, helping them get physically active while developing critical life skills during this time of isolation.


INDIGENOUS MARATHON FOUNDATION
Supporting Australia’s Indigenous communities by using running as a tool to drive social change, promote active and healthy lifestyles, and provide life-changing opportunities to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

 

LAUREUS SPORT FOR GOOD
Our International Charity Partner, a charity founded under the Patronage of Nelson Mandela to use the power of sport to change the world.
